Welcome to CrowdShift!

CrowdShift is a blog and social networking experiment for the sustainability community. Along with blogposts about happenings in sustainability-dom, Crowdshift has an interactive event calendar, forums for discussions about things like blogposts, Town Hall meetings, and ongoing research projects. This is a great place to post Calls for Papers, links to interesting articles, and commentary on sustainability issues.

While we hope this site will become the go-to spot for the SOS community and we have created private forums within the site for just SOS, we also hope CrowdShift's popularity will grow and that people outside of SOS and ASU will start to use this site for sustainability discovery and inspiration.

Suggestions, comments, complaints and blog posts are welcome. Please send all such communications to CrowdShift@gmail.com.

My First Turkey-Free Thanksgiving

I just enjoyed my first Turkey-Free Thanksgiving. No, I did not have Tofurkey (which may or may not be an abomination of nature). Just good old stuffing, green beans, mashed potatoes, cornbread and cranberry sauce. Ok, ok, and some turkey gravy. Is that moral flip flopping? Maybe. I'll get to that later though.
